Carpentry is one of the oldest professions in the world, but that doesn’t mean we can’t turn old-fashioned into highly stylish!
We started in 2009 in our local suburb of Fremantle. Our family has a well-established history when it comes to carpentry, but we didn’t want to feel restricted or limited to only doing projects that the ‘boss’ had in mind.
Over the past 15 or so years, we’ve built a reputation, both in Western Australia and the industry, of being innovative and hard-working individuals who do the right thing, even when others aren’t.
At Freo Carpentry & Maintenance, we believe in cutting wood, not cutting corners, and we are OK if others don’t agree with that.
Our family has enough experience to understand that wood is something to be moulded and appreciated. We like to think of ourselves as Wood Masters – rather than just carpenters.
We have a deep appreciation of stunning decks, beautiful pergolas, and other outdoor living spaces. We specialise in creating masterpieces, not just a place to put down a folding chair.
Our Wood Masters understand that when you hire us to build your deck or pergola, you expect a retreat, or an entertaining area, not an elevated roost with squeaky stairs.
We love designing truly beautiful outdoor spaces, but we also enjoy working with wood in any capacity. Want some timber accents? Thinking of redesigning your closet? We’re a bit strange because we find enjoyment in that as well!
